Prologue

SOMA DAHLE

Year 1673

"Thousand of years ago, before the formation of Earth, the Gods chose to create angels with a characteristic of love that permitted them to adore the Gods, themselves, and one another. The affection was willful and compulsory.

The highest nature that God has created and was that the greatest of the angels - Peneneum.

Peneneum acknowledged that it was so ideal to love and be loved for selfish pleasure rather than just for the love's sake. He started experiencing love for selfish reason making the Gods furious, hence, he was cast out of Heaven."

"But what about the other angels that went with him? What could be the reason they fell?" Lady Ahin asked.

"The other angels were not on the same level as Peneneum so they cannot love the same way as him. The other angels fell not because they despise the Gods, but because they love Peneneum. The Gods was a distant figure, and Peneneum was their friend. Rather than struggling for approval of their unreachable parent, they followed their brother into exile." I answered.

Lady Ahin smiled widely and asked, "did you study in advance, Lady Soma?"

I just smiled and nod my head.

Lady Ahin continued to narrate the history of fallen angels.

"After they were exiled from Heaven, they walked the Earth and taught mankind the secrets reserved for the Gods. They taught them how to make weapons. They taught men the art of cosmetics and jewelries. They taught men how to cultivate the Earth and the secrets of healing herbs. The omens, divinings, the secret of living things, and all the art and sciences which the Gods have forbidden, they taught them.

The sons of the Gods impregnated the daughters of the men. The children were part divine and part mortal. They are what we call Nephilim. But, these Nephilims were too powerful for their human mothers and as a result, they died after giving birth.

It was also said that fallen angels can pass their powers to their child. But, they were not able to be accessed until their 18th year.

The children of fallen angels became great leaders of men. When the Gods looked down upon the Earth and saw humans living like Gods. They were furious. They also saw the Nephilims amongst the children of men, teaching them the secrets of Gods. The Gods feared that the Nephilims would lead the children of men to the very gates of Heaven to reclaim the realm forsaken by their fathers. So, the Gods punished them and wipe their seeds all over the Earth. But the Gods cannot do it because most men were tainted by the blood of Nephilims.

Instead, the Gods sentenced them to eternity. They cast them into the most remote places on Earth. Some Nephilims were cast into the ocean and became merfolks, some became goblins and trolls, some became vampires, faires. All the supernaturals creature were descendants of the fallen angels.

We are a descendant of them."
