LILY’S POV “You are not going to be late, you still have close to an hour,” I said dragging my protruding stomach over to her. “Thanks, Lily. You know how this thing goes. I am to chair this meeting. They are huge investors and this cannot go wrong, at least not under my watch” she replied. I handed the little make-up box to her. “And now I cannot be held responsible,” I said and went to seat on her bed. “Forgive me for bothering you this early. I forgot that I left it in your room” she appealed. She opened the box and started to apply her make-up, quickly but diligently. “You know I must look my best,” she said. “And have you met your boss yet?” I asked. “No. He is a very busy fellow. I think he has other engagements. But so far so good, work has been running smoothly without him.
