BELLA’S POV
“Bella” I heard my name.
My heart skipped a beat and immediately, I felt goosebumps all over my body. I froze and could not bring myself to look back.
The only person that should recognize me here is Claire, and, certainly, she is not the one that called. Who then is the caller and what does the person want from me?
I was already sweating profusely even under the skin-wrecking air conditioner. I felt like taking off my suit and every piece of my clothing. I have never been this nervous all my life.
Seeing how tensed I was, Claire pulled my hands gently and she turned to see who it was.
“Hey, Ruby, it is you” Claire called out.
On hearing the name of the caller, I was relieved. But why was I even afraid? It is not as if Rich has seen me before now. But then how did ‘Ruby’
