“Come on, it is not about that” he smiled.
Why is he trying to be difficult? I know the money for a drink would be quite much and that is why I have offered to pay for it. So what is stopping him from being grateful and accepting my kind gesture?
I was beginning to get annoyed. No man has ever said no to him no matter the situation.
“Why are you refusing my offer? I will take you to somewhere nice and I will make sure that you are treated nicely” I said.

“Don’t tell me you don’t take liquors. And moreover, I promise to treat your nice tonight” I offered.
