“The Alpha has found his mate.” Beta Stones' apprehensive voice greeted Victor the moment he stepped in.
“So?” Came Victor’s disinterested voice.
“So? This was not the deal Victor! The deal was to get him out of the way.”
“You can as well go from door to door shouting your hidden agenda into their ears,” Victor replied, he was very unconcerned.
“You lied to me.” Beta Stones bared his teeth, ready to attack when Victor held his neck with so much force that Stones feared his neck would snap into two.
“It’s either to shut the hell up and follow my lead, or you do it your way, fail woefully, and count me out of it.” The Gamma challenged.
