Theo was still holding his cell phone and talking steadily when he noticed that Samantha had stopped and was no longer responding to him.
"Hey, honey, are you there?" asked Theo.
Samantha seemed to come to her senses and immediately answered Theo. "Yes, honey, I'm good," she lied.
"Are you sure?" he asked again. Theo then wondered if he had said something that would upset Samantha.
"Of course, honey," Samantha continue to deny, she even laugh to make Theo believe that she was fine.
"Okay, honey, if that's what say. You know that I am always here for you, by the way, I saw your co-worker with Raymond when I'm going back to my car," he informs her.
"Oh well, Eunice told me that Raymond's approached her to look after me, like what you did," Samantha jokes to release her tension.
