Samantha wants to celebrate when Jaimee is completely angry when she contradicts all that she said. She maybe thought that she would be easily contemptuous or insulted just because she became broke and not the Samantha she used to be when her parents are still alive.
Jaime busted going out of their apartment building in her annoyance to her. She just watched her, somehow, she felt jealous of her because she can still be able to party with her friends while she didn't have a friend anymore.
