The Uneasy Feeling Begins It started with little things. Subtle, small... almost too minor to mention. But Nadyia noticed. One evening as she buckled Ethan into his car seat after daycare, she had the distinct sense that someone was watching. She glanced around the parking lot — nothing but a few cars, their windows dark. No movement. Still, the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Later, while unloading groceries at home, she found a small piece of paper wedged between the storm door and the frame. It wasn’t a note. It wasn’t even addressed.
