### Episode 2: The Unwelcome Intrusion
**Setting:** Alizy’s modest studio apartment, cluttered with art supplies and unfinished canvases. It’s late evening, and a soft light from a single lamp illuminates the room.
---
Alizy was lost in the strokes of her latest painting when a knock on the door interrupted her focus. She glanced at the clock—8 PM. Who could it be at this hour?
**Alizy**: “Coming!”
She opened the door to find Devon standing there, his expression a mix of determination and charm.
**Devon**: “Evening, Alizy. I hope I’m not interrupting.”
Alizy frowned, clearly surprised and a bit irritated by his sudden visit.
**Alizy**: “Devon, what are you doing here? I didn’t invite you.”
Devon stepped inside without waiting for an invitation, his eyes sweeping over the cluttered space with mild amusement.
**Devon**: “I thought I’d see how you work. Art is always better when it’s appreciated in person.”
Alizy crossed her arms, her tone firm.
**Alizy**: “You’re intruding. I have a lot of work to do, and I prefer not to have unexpected visitors.”
Just then, Janelle walked in, looking up from her phone with a curious expression.
**Janelle**: “Alizy, who’s—Oh, it’s you.”
**Devon**: “Janelle, right? I’ve heard about your art too. Seems like Alizy has some impressive friends.”
**Janelle**: “Yes, and we’d prefer our evenings to be uninterrupted.”
Alizy gave Janelle a grateful look, trying to convey her frustration. She turned back to Devon, her patience wearing thin.
**Alizy**: “Devon, if you’re here to talk business, it’ll have to wait until tomorrow. I’m really not in the mood for company.”
Devon’s gaze softened slightly, though the intensity in his eyes remained.
**Devon**: “I understand. But I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be here when you’re ready.”
As Devon turned to leave, he cast one last lingering glance at Alizy, the promise of his persistence hanging in the air.
**Janelle**: “He’s something else, isn’t he?”
**Alizy**: “More than you know.”
