After Ryder and I got back together, the first thing I did was call Mira to tell her the news.
She slurped her noodles and said she'd seen it coming.
Then she told me to check the campus forum. Apparently, during the day and night I'd been MIA, Ryder had been busy.
That reminded me of the text he'd sent earlier.
I opened the forum. All those nasty comments about me were gone. The video of us kissing?

Under the thread "Ryder's Ex Turns Out to Be Ivy Hawthorne," there was only one comment left. Posted by Ryder himself, on his real account:

My breath caught. For the first time in a long time, I felt what it was like to be chosen.
A little while later, Ryder came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel.
