Chapter 40
Clara's POV
I woke up to see it's a brand new day. Jason will be returning to earth today and I wonder when next I'll be seeing him.
I took a warm bath and wore my court dress before heading to the main room where Jason and Nicole slept.
Jason was already awake but Nicole was still sleeping, she must be really tired.
"Good morning" Jason greeted
"Morning! Take your bath and get your things ready, we'll leave once I return" I said and walked out without waiting for his response
After the brief meeting, I went back to the inner room and changed my clothes. I got to the main room and saw Jason fully ready.
"Let's go" I said and led the way
I didn't make use of my vampire speed because I don't want to hold Jason so we just walked side by side.
