Chapter Fifteen Meghan Settling back into a comfortable position on the lounge chair, I draw the edges of Grandma’s throw around me as my two scrapbooks rest on my lap. My good fortune of an early finish at work today isn’t going to be wasted on attending to chores or catching up on paperwork. Instead, it’s going to be spent indulging in a little relaxation, a little well-earned and much-needed “me time.” I fold back the thick, weighty cardboard cover of the first album and turn over each soft, matte page in procession. The texture under my fingertips conjures the memory of linen cloth—that sturdy, crispness that exudes quality and class, at a price. Definitely something to handle with care, as even the most cautious touch threatens to score its pristine finish, rendering it ”grotty” f
