I WALKED away from Jeff. Gladly, he did not follow me. His presence near me was irritating, unpleasant, and destructive. Avoiding and ignoring him was the best I could do now that he was here in the same school as me. Our paths would really cross at any moment.
"See you later, Wren Perrone!" I heard Jeff's voice roar, making people who got to hear him look in his direction and me.
I did not mind the stares I got from people. I just continued walking until I reached my destination.
