Tara POV
You know that feeling of finally being accepted, and having something good? That’s how i feel right now. Overjoyed with happiness i finally have a friend.
Someone i can talk to and hang out with and definitely explore new adventures with. She’s so kind and understanding, and i’m grateful to finally have a bond with someone like her.
Yesterday she dropped me off only to come inside and introduce herself to my parents , then she told them she’s stealing me for few hours. We went to the mall and did our nails , then we went to grab something to eat at the diner. I got to know her better and she’s truly a gem.
“why you smiling so hard?” my mother questioned , pulling me out of my thoughts.
“it’s nothing” i lied but my mother saw through me.
“it’s definitely not a boy, so i’m certain it’s kim”
I looked at her stunned why would she call me out like that , i guess i looked funny cause she just laughed at me.
“why would you throw me under the bus like that?”
“don’t take it personal baby, i have just never seen you with a boy”
“i don’t like boys”
“and i have absolutely no problem with that baby” she gave me a wink.
“it’s saturday tomorrow, are you and dad going to be home?”
“ i don’t think so, your father has that conference party tomorrow. We will probably be back on sunday”
I frowned. These two are barely home these days and i get so bored in this house on my own.
“don’t worry i’ll make sure we come back early on sunday”
“don’t make promises you can’t keep mom”
She kissed my forehead and pulled on my cheeks.
“come let’s get going , i don’t want you to be late for school”
I took my bag and threw it over my shoulder. I went to the lounge to kiss my father’s cheek and made my way to the car. The drive to school was silent and when we parked outside the school gate’s ,excitement flooded me. I couldn’t wait to see kim.
“bye mom ,love you”
“love you to princess, tell kim i said hi”
“will do”
I took my bag and kissed my mothers cheek before making my way inside the school. Nobody was staring at me today and i couldn’t be more happy.
“booh”
I jumped and turned around in fright to see kim laughing at me, and it went on for a while
“omg you should of seen your face”
“make that face again please”
I looked at her she couldn’t stop laughing.
“tell me when you done”
She laughed even harder and i sighed, how bad was my facial expression that she’s dying from laughter. She stood up straight and flung her arms around me.
“morning how are you?” she let me go
“i was fine before someone almost made me wet myself”
“ i’m sorry i couldn’t resist, but no seriously i wish i took a picture of your face you were mortified”
She laughed again and i rolled my eyes , then she looked at my outfit and creased her brows.
“what on earth are you wearing?”
“my usual clothes”
“this is your usual clothes” she questioned with her hand swaying up and down at my choice of outfit.
“yes it’s very comfortable, way more comfy than the outfit i was wearing yesterday”
“i need to visit your wardrobe after school”
“for what?”
“don’t worry come let’s go granny tara”
I burst out laughing at her words then we walked inside i took out my first period books and kim came to my locker.
“what you doing tomorrow?”
“i got nothing planned, my parents left me alone for the weekend”
“great drinks at your place?”
I looked at this girl, does she know i haven’t drank before and i wasn’t considering it either.
“and then? Why you looking at me like that? Don’t tell me you never drank before”
I nodded and giggled shutting my locker closed.
“well tomorrow that will change, you 18, you need to have fun a little”
“yes mam, i’ll see you at lunch”
She winked at me and i made my way to class. I sat at my desk and mrs smith began speaking.
First period went faster than i expected. When the bell rang i was already making my way to my next class, i sat at my desk. And began taking notes from the board. Until i had the urge to use the restroom. I raised my hand.
“yes tara”
“miss white can i please go to the bathroom”
“be quick”
I got up and made my way to the girls bathroom. It was so satisfying i had to close my eyes and thank god. I did my business and went to wash my hands , just then the main bathroom door opened. I didn’t bother looking i went to the hand dryer.
“didn’t i warn you if you play with fire, you will get burned alive”
My head snapped in his direction so fast, my heart beat escalated. I tried to run past him but he grabbed me by the back of my neck.
“kai let me go”
In seconds i was slammed against the wall , a painful cry escaped my mouth. He held me by my neck with danger flashing in his eyes.
“so you not threatening me today tara”
“no.. I’m sorry please just let me go , you’re hurting me”
He ignored my pleas and lowered his head to my neck. He was sniffing me wtf?! I tried to push him off me but he was stronger.
“let me go you sick f**k”
He pulled away from me and slapped me so hard i felt droplets of urine soak my panties. I held my cheek it had a stinging pain i looked at him.
“don’t you ever talk to me like that again do you understand”
Silence
He crouched to my level.
“i said do you understand”
“yes” my voice was hoarse and tears flowed from the corners of my eyes.
He stood up straight and lifted my chin up so i could face him.
“i own you tara don’t forget that the next time you try to disrespect me”
I nodded and he stood up and left , i cried while sitting on the cold floor. His a monster! Eventually i got up and walked out the bathroom, i walked straight out the school gates and started making my way home. He owns me? His a psychopath with multiple personality disorder. He doesn’t f*****g own me.
One day i’m going to knee him in the balls so hard , he’ll never touch me again. I have complained numerous times to teachers but he gets away with doing as he pleases to me , it’s like they don’t even listen cause his probably giving them hush money.
I arrived at home and got inside,after deactivating the alarm i grabbed a tub of ice cream and went upstairs to my room. I sat on my bed and began eating my ice cream while going through social media post on my phone. Just then i heard a weird sound downstairs. Wtf?
“mom”
No answer, i frowned i definitely didn’t imagine that. I got up from my bed and opened my door and my eyes widened in panic and pure horror.
“kai what are you doing in my house”
“i let myself in i hope you don’t mind”
“i do mind please leave , what you just did was illegal”
“i’ll leave but i got a proposition for you”
“what do you want kai?”
“to make a deal”
He threw himself on my bed and looked at me like i was in his house. I folded my arms and looked at him.
“what deal?”
“something that benefits us both”
“so talk”
He sat up and looked at me.
“ you pretend to be my girlfriend for two weeks , so my brother can get off my back and give me what’s rightfully mine”
I burst out laughing is this man is really sick in his head. But he looked dead serious
“and why on gods green earth would i do that?”
“i’ll leave you alone for the rest of the term. You won’t ever have to be scared of seeing me again”
“you have lexi or any other girl from the school to choose from why me?”
“my brother knows lexi is a s****l companion and so are most of the girls from school, but he doesn’t know you which makes you a perfect candidate for the job”
“i don’t understand this job one bit and i don’t want to be apart of your games, please leave my house”
“my brother is keeping something very special away from me, it needs to be earned and you my dear tara can help me obtain it”
“please leave kai”
“i thought you would be more excited about my offer”
“you are delusional if you think that’s what i want”
He stood up and put his hands in his pockets whilst looking at me.
“think about it. I’ll make sure everyone at school stays out of your way and i will do the same”
“is that why you slapped me in a girls bathroom?”
“no i slapped you because of your mouth, you should learn how to talk to me”
“and you should learn how to treat women better, we are not punching bags”
“let me know your verdict”
He walked out and i breathed a sigh of relief, i heard the door close. I ran downstairs and locked the door. Breaking and entering now this boy is unbelievable.
I should’ve never showed him where i stay, he is crazy. What sick deal is that? Spend two weeks with kai? The boy who has made my life miserable at any chance he got.
I may be desperate to have him out of my life but i am not crazy to date him for 2 weeks. That’ll be two weeks of pure torture.
I went upstairs and laid on my bed. Great now his freaking cologne is on my bedding. I got up and took off the bedding set i put it in the washing and put new bedding on my bed, when i was done i jumped on my bed and took a nap.
LATER THAT DAY
I woke up and stretched my legs in bed. I took my phone from my nightstand, i had so many messages.
Kim❤️: where are you?
Kim❤️: did you leave i can’t find you.
Kim❤️: why aren’t you answering your phone?
Kim❤️: i just got paired with a boy who keeps telling me i remind him of his dead mother. Why would you just bail out on me with no explanation?
Kim❤️: girl you better answer your phone before i call the f*****g police.
I sighed. I completely forgot about that. Now i feel so bad. She probably thinks i did it on purpose but i had my own reasons. I decided to call her before she seriously goes to the police.
