Tara POV
Kai stood there just looking at me with a face void of emotion. He turned and left; slamming the door hard behind him. What just happened? I looked at the chain around my ankles and sobbed. This is a lot to take in. I just feel so miserable and angry. I laid down and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling irritable and hungry, I haven’t eaten in days and I’m certain I look like a walking zombie. I sat up on the bed and got a whiff of my body odour. I didn’t smell great; I really miss home now and my room.
I sat up straight and looked around the room it was a mess, the food was thrown on the floor and the blanket was still sprawled on the cold tiles. I sighed and massaged my forehead. I still have a mild headache and it’s not going away.
