Chapter Thirty-One I didn’t stop. Even when everything in me wanted to. Even when the pressure wrapped tighter, sharper than before—like invisible hands trying to pull me back into place, into silence, into compliance. I didn’t stop. Because now I knew something it didn’t want me to know. It could be resisted. And more importantly— it could feel that resistance.
