Second Round

As we approach IP Room there were many computers so i was thinking which will be the one.

Then jane asked same thing"kiara there are so many computers how will we fine one"

"Jane we have to if we want to go to second round. Lets start searching first"

As everyone around was searching alkng with us then i saw something which made a doubt in mind every computer screen were on and we could see desktop wallpaper than i thought to read the puzzle again.

I read it again on phone

"TO SOLVE THE HUNT YOU MUST GET INTO THE ROOM WIRED WITH NET

CRAMMED WITH TECH AND FULL OF CODES 

THE CLUE IS HIDDEN IN THIS ABODE"

Then i put stress on each word and try to relate it but couldn't till i saw word abode then i remember word abode means home or residence there should be something related to it in the room.

I was searching for it. When jane asked me "kiara what are you thinking?"

I didn't listen to her i was busy in my thoughts then my eyes drop one computer in the middle which has screen of a beautiful house with garden. Then i told jane and alara that maybe this could be so we gather our phones and started scanning in front of computer then our phone clicked everyone heard. Even before i can hide and mislead them.

Alara excitedly shouted "yes we got the coins yeaah yeahh!!"

Even before i could say her anything everyone ran towards us so jane grabbed my and alara hand and pulled us out.

Then she said to alara "what are u doing you are giving them hints we would have mislead them to gain time"

Alara said "ohhh i am sorry"

"Its okk jane she didn't do intentionally" i said to jane and had an eye contacted with alara who was guilty.

Then suddenly our phone beeped with second clue.

I read it loud for all of us to hear

"IF YOU ARE IN A HUNGRY MOOD,

GO HERE FIRST AND FIND SOME FOOD"

Then jane immediately answered smilingly

"Food means cafeteria"

We ran towards cafeteria when we reach there many students were already there finding on tables when i saw bunch of boys talking to one of cafeteria worker. And they seem happy.

Then alara said" i think we should go there maybe they have got that clue"

I rolled my eyes not because she was right but because she wanted go there because maddy was there and she has crush on him since morning she is talking about this. Even before i could resist she grab my wrist and led me there jane was following us.

As we approached near we could hear their voices one there was same that green eyed men who met in the morning and i felt for his features. Then i shook my head and said in my mind "no kiara no focus on competition"

Then i saw worker pointed towards a cake poster first i didnt knew what he was trying to say then i saw that green eyed mannscanning that poster and he got a coin i grabbed janes hand so that we can also get one. Alara was busy maddy but when she saw us running she too came behind.

The game went on with two more clues of library and staff room.We eventually got coins there late so now almost everybody was equal.

I knew if we got last clue fast then we wil go in second round.

Final clue was

"A site of work and getting things done

Of piles of paper and not much fun

In the clash of desk and of chair

You will find the secret there."

We were thinking only when someone from boys spoke

"Buddy its must be office"

Then other one said "But which office"

Then jane said "ya right which office guys cordinator, vice principal, principal which one???"

Then i was thinking about it then i made a logic that these all competition orders are passed by mathew sir it must be his office because he is the one who has appearance infront of students most of time"

Then i said "guys lets go"

Alara said"where?"

I said "just follow me" i knew if i spoke then will hear and they will reach before and we could loose we started running but i heard more footsteps behind other than alara's and jane's i got to knew others were following us. Then i increased my speed as we approach infront of sir's office i took a deep breathe and then i opened the door. I looked for sir but he was not there so i took a releived breath then we saw congratulations written on the side wall.

I pointed there and run towards it to scan. I was first one to get a final coin. Then jane and alara did same followed by others we took a releif and came outside.

Alara said "it was too much of running here and there for first day"

I said "yeah right i m too tired"

Jane said "atleast we know the results for three of us"

I smiled and gave them group hug.

Then it was announced on speaker that list of stydents who got in second round will be placed tomorrow in the morning.

Then we went to our room to rest.

I slept for two hours it was 9pm then jane and alara started find right dress for freshers party. Yeah its too approaching i remembered myself. Actually all occasion are making me overwhelmed so i came out to take a breathe in the balcony of our combined hostel room.

I was seeing up at sky. Yeah i am nature lover i could at sky for hours without getting bored i love that. Its like my "me time"

People think that only depress people do that but according my thoughts everyone should do that its so good to give yourself company to sometimes drink a coffee alone at a coffee shop. To listen to waves of sea, or see at sky.

Anyways today sky was full of stars there was no moon. I usually try to recognise which contellation they are making. I love to do these things.

Then my thoughts were interrupted by jane saying "why don't you select one dress for party"she said excitedly

I rolled my eyes and said " I am feeling overwhelmed of all these happening too fast"

"Yeah i could feel that too"she said while her happiness was turning into sadness too.

So i felt guilty about it that she must felt wŕong. So i tried to change topic "lets go find one for me i don't want to look clown at freshers party"

Her eyes were glittering and showed me her curvy smile. I too smiled at her and went inside. Jane and alara selected a black shimmery jumpsuit which had shorts joined with it. I was least bothered about dressing so i agreed.Then we chatted about somethings alara almost talk about maddy and i usually rolled my eyes at what she was saying. Then we slept.

In the morning jane woke me up but i didnt wanted to as i am not a morning person. She tried to shake me so i went to other side of bed and grabbed pillow on my head. Then i heard her frustated sigh. I thought she went away but next thing i knew she pulled my blanket and i groaned.

Both alara and jane started gigling.

Then i threw the pillow and sat up at bed with a frown on my head.

I raised a brow at her and asked "what???"

Asked would be understatement i nearly shouted.

Then she said "u will get us late"

I asked "how come that"

Then alara told that there is already que in girls hostel bathroom for bathing as everyone is excited about results.

Then i put a hand over my head as i almost forgot that i dnt no more live in my house its hostel and there is combined bathroom.

I let out a sigh and said "okay, lets go"

As we were walking through the corridor i was talking to my friends looking behind at them when i didn't saw someone approaching and she inmediately bumped into me. And next thing was we both fall on the ground.

I said "i am sorry" holding my head i didnt saw who it was.

Then she said "what i will do of your sorry you b***h ruined my dress"

Then i look up as somehow i heard this irritating cranky noise and it was none other than b***h of our whole school becky. She behave rudely with everyone.

Then i thought instead of saying sorry she is shouting and creating a scene.

I was busy in my thoughts when alara and jane were replying to her comments and alara almost shouted at her "kiara is not a b***h but you are and about the dress its matches too your cheap standard"

Before becky could reply back jane helped me to get up and grabbed alara's hand and we went further.

I heard her cursing in her voice behind us.

I was thinking since the morning started like this with this b***h and her drama then how will day will pass. At thought of it only i was gasping hard.

Then unwantedly we went to university there was a list pinned at notice board there was a huge bunch of students. We went after fighting lot i went at front and saw my name at first then janes and then alara's. I was turning back when one other name got my attention. My eyes widened to thought that i got the person for whom i was looking.

My mind had too many questions who is he?? what i will do with him now??
