I felt something wet hit my face. I shot up to see my mom standing over the bed with a pot. "Get up!" She said . I looked at the clock to see it was little bit past the time I get ready for school. I really slept the whole night which is unusual for me. I felt like my mom put so much pressure on me . I feel hurt that she would throw water at me as my sister laughed .I felt humiliated and heartbroken.I shook the feelings and smiled. Another day here in paradise. I got up and grabbed clothes to shower. I looked at myself in the mirror and reminded myself that I can do this. I quickly took a shower and got ready for school. I went to the kitchen and made breakfast for everyone. I walked back to my room to read until it's time to go . I looked around and couldn't find one of the books I've been reading . Ugh I don't know where I left it. I decided to start the other book until I go. "Maybe , Luca will talk to you at school" My wolf Sliver said. "Let's hope not! He will draw attention to me." I said back. "I know you don't like attention but we need to figure out why I feel a pull to his wolf" Sliver said. "Ill talk to him only if he approaches me" I said. "Maybe he's our mate!" Sliver said. "Hold up ! There's no way I'm a omega" I said. "I don't think so" Sliver said . "We shall determine that once I shift when I turn 18." I just laughed and saw it was time to go. I grabbed my stuff and headed to the bus. I sat down and put my headphones in. I hurried off the bus to go to the library to see if the librarian had seen my book. She said she hadn't seen it. I walked back into the hallway trying to figure where it could be. I heard Luca calling my name . I stopped dead in my tracks and turned towards him. He opened his backpack and took my book out. "Omg ! Did you take this?" I said . He looked confused and shocked . "No! you left it by the training field after you went to get ice for and left." Luca said. "Thanks for giving it back to me " I said . "No problem. Why do you read so much Grace?" He asked . "I read because it helps me escape in moments I feel like I'm slipping emotionally" I said. I don't know why I just told him that .We walked to class and I sat in the back. For some reason he decided to sit next to me . "Sir! why are you sitting next to me?" I said . "Sir? really? I just didn't want you to be lonely back here" He said while laughing. "Aren't you a guy? Loneliness was here way before you were. I'm fine sir" I said . Before he could respond to my sarcasm. We heard Gio's voice . I turned back towards my book. "Well what do we have over here?" Gio said . "Gio! We are talking as you can see" Luca said. "She's just a Omega Luca!" He said. I felt emotions running high. Luca suddenly grabbed Gio and walked out the room while dragging him. I looked around the room to see shocked facial expressions on other pack members faces. I put my hoodie over my head and continue reading. I smelled Luca coming through the door . He came back and told me sorry for Gio. I laughed out loud . "Its okay I'm used to it by now" I said . He frowned at me. His eyes went black and growled lowly. I grabbed his hand and flinched when I felt a tingly feeling. I gasped a softly and coughed so he wouldn't noticed I felt that. There's no way we could be mates. "Maybe or Maybe not. Once you turn 18 we shall see why you feel connected" Sliver said. Why does my life feel so complicated I thought to myself. "Because it can be and I know you'll figure this out" Sliver said. "I have no choice but to figure it out" I said. She smiled and retreated to the back of my mind.
