Chapter 8

Chloe's Perspective:

Feeling the darkness starting to fade away. I become aware of someone holding my hand. Twitching my fingers I let that person know I am trying to wake up. Feeling myself kinda stuck. The unknown person sounds excited.

Lucil says " My love she just squeezed my hand!"

I hear a scraping sound from someone getting up from a chair. Along with heavy footsteps.

Knowing I don't know these people I start trying to open my eyes. Wanting to put faces to the voice and sounds I hear.

Finally blinking my eyes open I look to see who is standing there. Seeing a woman and a man. I look between them confused.

Lucil asks "Do you know your name?"

I nod and Say " Yes I do know.... who are you?

Lucil says " well it depends on what you wish to call us. "

I ask " What do you mean? "

Lucil the delicate one says sweetly " My name is Queen Lucil Letif and the gentleman behind me is my husband King Micheal Letif and we my dear girl are your Biological parents."

In shock I say "My biological parents? Are you sure?"

Micheal says "Yes I am sure. The ritual wouldn't have not brought us our blood daughter."

Confused I ask "Ritual? What ritual?"

Lucil says "The angel ritual we used it to call you home to us."

I ask "Angel ritual? what is that?"

Lucil says "It is a magic spell preformed with water that will transport whoever we are seeking with water. It doesn't work unless the person being seeked is blood related and had there first shift or we have there DNA to drag them back to us."

I hear the word magic and shifted and scrunch my face and say "I'm confused. Magic? Shifted? What do you mean Shifted? And magic doesn't exist in the world.

I watch as Lucil and Micheal exchange looks.

Micheal says "It will be easier if we just show you what we mean. But first what is your name my dear princess?"

In confusion I nod and say " Chloe"

Lucil smiles big and says " They kept your name! "

Chloe says "My parents told me that they found me with a blanket that had my name on it. Just not a last or middle name."

Lucil says "That is fine. Now let me and your father show you what we meant by shifted and magic. "

Lucil stepping back starts stripping.

Chloe horrified says " What are you doing? "

Lucil says "Taking off my clothes. It is necessary so I don't destroy my clothes." completely naked she steps back and says "Now quiet and watch closely."

Lucil starts shifting into her wolf form. loud cracking being heard from around the room.

I stare on in shock. Looking at Lucil in facination and horror. I see a big wolf that is white and grey in her place.

Looking at Micheal expectantly he smiles with a chuckle and pops out his wings and makes them spread wide.

I continue to sit there speechless and say "So it wasn't a dream....."

Micheal and Lucil look at each other and then back at me concerned.

Micheal asks " What do you mean it wasn't a dream."

I say "I thought all that pain and weird free feeling was all a dream. I didn't realize that any of it was real.... even though my bathroom was oddly destroyed with mud. Though I thought my brother did it....."

Micheal and Lucil listen to me sadly. Knowing I had other people raise me.

*Unknowns Perspective*

I can't believe I lost my chance at finally introducing myself and hitting on My Perspective Mate. Now she is back in the world that she originated and will most likely find her true mate. I growl out "Damnit!" Before going and collecting the things I need to get back to the Shifter realm.

*Damien's Perspective*

Damien currently down at the beach feels this intense moment when Chloe passes into his realm. It is an instant pull feeling that he has never felt before and a connection being formed that wasn't there before.

Damien breathes deeply as the moment passes by and gets back to work.

The beach itself is turning into a beautiful area with twinkling lights, tiki torches, snack area, an area with soft music to dance to and a beautiful relaxing area for people to relax and watch the ocean.

Damien glances up as he hears a noise and sees Vanessa approaching him.

Damien sighs quietly and stands from where he is working.

Vanessa looks around and says "So is this where you are gonna propose to me? Being as we have been together for Three Years?"

Damien sighs and says "Vanessa I will only propose to my mate and you are not her. "

Vanessa says calmly "I thought you had to have a mate no matter what this year? Your Father has stated that you have to be mated this year."

Damien says "Things have changed. I now know who I am supposed to be mated to and I will not take anyone less than her. "

Vanessa growls and says " You are backing out on your promise!? "

Damien says " Vanessa I never promised you anything. Now please leave me alone I have things to get done. "

Vanessa slaps him and stomps through the sand away from him. Her looking redicioulous being as she was wearing 8 inch heels.

Damien sighs and shakes his head. Going back to work and soon finishing what he was planning for with the beach. him having to wait to set up the rose petal path till one day before hand. Happy he finished and happy that he ordered the multicolored rose petals.

Tired after the long day of work he decides to lay on the sand and look up at the setting sky for a bit before he goes and has dinner.
