Transporting Luna

Chapter 3

Chloe's Perspective:

We enter the house and see that my mom had been busy that day and decorated the house. I smile big and go and look for her.

I find her in the kitchen cooking all my favorites and say "Mom you did a wonderful job on the decorations and the food smells amazing!"

My mom smiles big and hugging me says " Ah thank you honey." I hug her back gently. Not trying to squeeze her scared of hurting her.

Mom says "Honey me and your father have something important to tell you later. Before we all go to bed. I feel it is time you knew some things."

I say "Alright mom. Sounds good."

Mom seeing Lizzy says "Lizzy darling you look lovely.." seeing Derek she says in a cold voice "Derek" Mom has never approved of him. Neither has dad but they put up with him for me.

For my feelings wise. I have never felt he was right for me deep down. Though I have just stayed with him because he is incredibly sweet.

Helping mom set the table and set up the rest of the party I started feeling even more sick. But I continued to hide it.

Dad finally came home and hugged me and wished me a happy birthday again.

I smiled and we all sat down for my birthday dinner. I ask "are you guys ok if I go to a boat party this Saturday night? a bunch of my friends are going to be there."

Mom and dad looking at each other say "Honey you are an adult. You are more than welcome to go anywhere you want. As long as you are safe.

I say "Alright then I am going to go.... should we have that talk now?"

Mom sighs and says "Well we can... it's just.... love you tell her."

Dad looks at me and with a voice full of emotion says "You are adopted."

In shock I say "what do you mean I am adopted? I'm not your daughter?"

Dad says "No you are not in the blood sort of way. But you are our daughter in mindset."

Tears forming I ask "Jamie isn't though. I remember mom being pregnant. So why am I?"

Mom says "You where found on the beach. No one knows why or how or who. You where sopping wet when me and your father found you. We fell in love with you and took you home and started the adoption process. "

Full blown crying now I hug my parents and say " Thank you for always being there! I love you guys so much! "

Mom starting to cry says " I'm just glad you don't hate us for not telling you. We haven't known how for the longest time. "

I say "How could I hate you guys? I love you all so much. "

Mom smiles and says " Let's continue your Birthday. "

After dinner we open presents and I start feeling worse. Finally unable to hide it anymore my mom asks "Honey are you alright?"

I say "no I'm not. I haven't felt good all day.... I think I am going to go lay down."

Mom looking worried says "Alright love."

Getting up I head upstairs and grab out Pjs. Stopping when I hear a knock on the door. I say "Come in..."

Derek opens the door and says "Baby was this a hint that you want me up here?" He comes over and snakes his arms around my waist.

"No Derek. It is not an invitation. Please leave so I can get into Pjs and relax. I truly am not feeling good." I say.

Derek growling in frustration says "Fine! See ya later baby!" He lets me go and slams the door on the way out." I sigh and start undressing and get in my big baggy tee shirt and shorty shorts.

Crawling into bed I try to get comfortable. Struggling hard core to get comfortable. My whole body aching. My chest feeling tight I get up and walk outside onto my balcony to get some fresh air.

Getting outside I breathe deeply and groan in pain. My back between my shoulder blades ache the pain becoming more and more intense.

Gasping at the intenseness I lean to far forward and fall to the ground. My body exploding into pain all over. I groan and struggle to my feet. Walking to the woods I grab onto a tree and start screaming out in pain.

My bones feeling like they are breaking and my back feeling like it is separating into quarters. The feeling like my body is being ripped in half in several areas.

Suddenly I hear an errie and frightening cracking sound and I look down at my arms and hands as I scream in pain.

My body cracks, breaks, grows hair and starts rearranging into a new shape.

Out my back grows a pair of beautiful white feathered wings. Me screaming as they are released and set free out my back.

My bones and body continue to shift forms as I scream it starting to sound unhuman as I scream. it sounding more and more animalistic.

Finally my body stops hurting and screaming in pain. I look down and look at what used to be my hands. In there place paws are formed.

In my new body I take off into the night and run through the woods. The rush and the free feeling it gave me feels amazing. My mind turning off my body continues to run through the woods. Covering itself in mud and dirt as it does.

Finally in my animal form I return home and jump in through my open bathroom window and shake. Destroying my bathroom. Completely naked and tired.

A burning sensation in the shape of a heart with angel wings wrapped around it forming on the back of my neck unseeble. It covered by my hair.

In a daze I shift back human. Clean myself up and then go and collapse in bed....
