“Goddess, you scared the s**t out of me.” Colby pulled me to his bare chest and his scent calmed me immediately. I hope mine was doing the same for him. He was trying not to be frantic, but I could feel through our fully complete bond that he needed to move. He needed to do something with his hands to feel like he was helping me. But the issue was, I had no idea what I needed. This was all new territory for me.
“I need to get you some water and something to eat. We left the bag out by the entrance. Stay here and relax, I’ll be right back.” He took a step toward the entrance and looked back to me, a genuine smile on his face. “I need to take care of you first, then I want to see that beautiful mark on your neck, Sera. Thank you - for accepting me.”
