“What happened?” Sera whisper-shouted as I stomped my way up the castle steps.
“Just your perfect little lover boy forcing himself upon me, once again.”
“Lani!...” She was equal parts shocked and impressed as I acted out of my norm.
“Just..don’t.” I shoved her hand off my arm and marched back through the castle, smiling politely at the staff and getting my mind right for whatever I was about to walk into. These luncheons were normally filled with discussion that equaled my nightmares. So…let’s get on with it already.
