The party ends

What is happening I said busting through the circle that was forming. Both men tried to talk at the same time. I held up my hand for them to stop talking. I looked at the girl and beckoned them all three to follow me. We was taking this some where private. I ushered them to my office and had them all three sit down. I closed the door behind me before Greg or Derek could get in. I can handle this. They can listen through the door if they want.

I looked at the boyfriend first. You knew when you started dating this day was going to come. She is not your mate. You are aware. He started to speak and I held up my hand. He grunted but shut up. I looked at her and told her you also knew this too. You knew one day you were going to have to make this decision. Now is that time.

She looked at me panicked. Like she didn’t know this was coming. She looked between them both back and forth like she was mentally weighing her options. They both looked at her panicked. Not knowing who she was going to choose. She said I can’t do it. I can’t choose I feel like I love them both.

I told her she has too. She can choose her mate. The one that the moon goddess made for her. The one she was supposed to be with. Or her boyfriend. The one she fell in love with on her own for who he was. But she needed to keep in mind one day he will find his mate. And if she rejected hers right now, and he accepted his mate when they came along she could possibly be alone forever.

The boyfriend said he would never leave her. If she stayed with him he would reject his mate for her. They could be together forever. She didn’t look like she was believing him but she still looked torn.

Her mate reached his hand forward and grabbed hers. It instantly calmed her a bit. He said you were meant for me. You’re the other half of my heart. We are meant to be together. I can’t promise you the world, but I can promise you unconditional love.

It took everything in me to not say awe that’s so sweet. I but I bit my tongue and looked back at the girl waiting for her decision. I think that sealed the deal. She looked at her mate, her face looked softer and less confused. She looked at the boyfriend and apologized. She said I’m sorry I choose him. I will be leaving our pack and joining his.

Before anybody could react the boyfriend jumped up and with a loud growl he lunged at the poor girl. Before he made it to her though the mate had him pinned to the ground and was ready to tear him to shreds. The door burst open Greg and Derek came through it ready to fight. But before they could I let out a growl that stopped everybody in their tracks.

I was not in the mood for this. I was not cleaning blood out of ny carpet tonight. I was to tired for that task. Both the mate and boyfriend stared at me. I told the mate to get up, grab his mate and go home. He did as he was told the boyfriend still lay on the floor. I told him get up, pull yourself together. Go home, mourn the relationship then find his mate. The person the moon goddess made for him. I put out my hand to help him off the floor.

He took my hand and nodded. I felt sorry for him he looked so sad as he headed out the door. Love is hard I know but he will be fine. Then I looked at Greg and Derek. I told them they better have not broke my office door when they burst in. Then I pushed past them as I headed back to the party room. It was time for everyone to go home.

I walked up on the dj stage and told everyone the party was over. If they hadn’t found their mate they wasn’t going to tonight. It was almost midnight so they didn’t have to go home but they couldn’t stay here. Everyone groaned but made their way to the exit. As I was walking back down the stage stairs Derek was at the bottom. He smirked at me and said can I stay here.
