From Alpha to Luna

The introduction

Before saying anything I linked Greg gave him the short version of what was going on and that I needed him to run interference while I gathered my thoughts. I stood up walked over to my desk and sat in my chair. Took a deep breath and said come in, praying Greg would be in right behind him.

When the door opened the smell of my mate practically over powered the room. I looked up from my desk and almost fell out of my chair. I knew exactly who this was. The most powerful alpha in the country. I knew this surely meant he was gonna reject me. He could do better than me. He stood in the doorway just staring at me and not saying a word. Greg went to maneuver around him, he put his hand up to block Greg’s entrance.

I had enough of the awkwardness. So I finally said is there any particular reason alpha Derek you won’t let my beta into my office. He tilted his head like he was studying me. He lowered his hand and let Greg by. Greg took his place standing behind my chair. We both now stared at Derek I don’t know what Greg was thinking but I was thinking I wanted to lick this 6ft 5in man from his toes all the way up to his slicked back jet black hair. I shook my head to get the thought out. Derek laughed like he knew what I was thinking.

He finally came in sat in the chair right in front of. Me inhaled deeply and closed his eyes. More than likely trying to calm his wolf. Zoey was losing her mind. She would hump his leg right if I let her. It was taking all my strength to control her. That’s why I couldn’t speak. I wondered if that’s what his problem was also. He finally opened his eyes they flashed from green to black then back to green. He was struggling with control. He spoke one word MATE. I instinctively said it too MATE. One word so powerful. It sent chills through my whole body when he said it. I seen slight goosebumps on his arm when I said it.

I cleared my throat and sat up straight. I looked at Greg and said since it looks like we have this under control do you mind standing outside the door. I will link if I need you. He gave a look like are you sure. I nodded and he closed the door behind him.

I looked to Derek who was still staring at me and said alright how are we going to handle this. He said what do you mean. I said are you going to reject me know, or have a little fun then reject me. He looked confused. But still didn’t say anything. The strong silent type. Could he get any hotter I thought to myself.

He finally spoke more than one word. He looked straight at me and began to introduce himself. Like I wasn’t familiar with him or his powerful pack. He said I am Derek Reigns Alpha of the Blackforest Pack. I followed his lead and said I am Vivian Scott alpha of the Hineswood Pack.
