The weekdays went by as swiftly as the weekend finished. Colin continued to stick to Nick in the clinic, like a gum to a shoe. His minor injuries had become better, and the way he interacted with Nick remained the same. So much so, that Nick sometimes thought that everything was back to normal—as if noting different had happened. None of them brought anything up, and their conversations never touched any topic deeper than the typical surface-level musings or banter.
