After chatting over coffee, they locked up the place and parted ways. The sun was nearly set, coating the the skies and everything outside with a warm glow.
Nick was walking alongside Colin, on their way back to the apartment. He realized that not much had changed after the night he confessed his feelings. The only thing that has changed was the fact that they were more physical now—more touching and sharing small kisses in the apartment, mostly initiated by the other man. Nick wanted to know more than surface-level information about Colin, and spend more time with him outside of their usual routine. But, being new to all of it, he did not know how to bring it up. He wanted to say something about it earlier, but he never found the right time in the clinic.
