The wedding is over. I mean, the ceremony is. I won’t go into detail because it was a short, modest, but intimate event. A bit like closing the door physically on the twelve or so people who were there. The actual words and the declarations and—okay, so I’m man enough to admit it—the tears, they were for us alone. I’m pretty sure none of Mandy’s photos will ever see the light of day, she was blubbing happily all through it, and she’s infamous for wobbling the phone as she snaps so nothing’s ever in focus.
