Sophia I sat on my bed, with a slice of pepperoni pizza in my hand. I hadn’t asked for it—Benjamin had it delivered anyway like he was still trying to guilt his way back in. The cheese had gone rubbery. But I didn't care anyway, coz I wasn’t hungry. I wasn’t anything. Just tired. There was a knock at the door. Not gentle, not polite but loud….too loud. I turned toward it but didn’t speak. Maybe if I stayed still, they’d go away. Another knock. I didn’t move. Just when I gave in and tried to lift the pizza to my mouth— GBAM! The door crashed open. I almost screamed, splinters of wood clinging to the broken hinges like snapped bones. My heart almost skipped a beat. A man stood there. Tall. Thick. Dressed in black like a shadow that had stepped out of my nightmares. I blinked.
