*** Bertha’s POV *** When I was a dumb thirteen-year-old in high school, it was tradition on the first day to do an oral presentation about yourself with your standard classic pointers such as family, siblings, favourite hobbies, favourite movies or books, your aspirations in life, your aspirations for a career, etc. Typically, the popular kids were cool and confident. Presenting for them was easy. For the outcasts, not so much. When it became my turn to present, my nerves heightened, my hands became clammy and I felt my cheeks redden. I was an outcast.
