E and I were walking back to our room, hand in hand and in silence. I looked at him a few times but he seemed to be lost in thought,
“Are you OK, handsome?” I whispered softly, trying not to startle him.
“I’m OK. Sorry, just a lot on my mind with the planning.” He responded indifferently. I couldn’t tell if he was happy, sad, angry, or upset. For the first time, he was completely emotionless.
“What’s the deal with the rogues? Have you and your dad figured out your defence plan? Are you going to negotiate a peace or will the be a fight?” I didn’t know what a rogue attack involved. I have no idea what dangers my future pack are currently facing. I was hoping there was some way I could help.
