“I just spoke to Dad. He wants us to meet him in his suite. I’m sorry, my Angel. You shouldn’t be having to deal with this.” E looked away from me, sadness taking over his entire body. My heart clenched seeing him so hurt and Aquarius was whimpering.
“E, if you say you have no emotional attachment to this girl and that she’s essentially stalking you. I’m worried, for you and for what it means when we return. Hopefully together.” At that, E looked up at me with a glint of hope in his eyes. It made me smile seeing that hope return.
“Let’s go, Dad’s expecting us.” E smiled but it didn’t reach his eyes. I was preparing myself for there to be more to the story than E was originally letting on.
