*** Angeline’s POV *** “What do you mean you’ve come to say goodbye already?” I asked as Father closed the door after Mother entered my room. “Darling girl, we won’t be able to be with you for breakfast tomorrow.” Mother spoke as we made our way to each other, embracing each other in one of her amazing motherly hugs. Nothing in the world beats a hug from your own mother. “What do you both have on that’s more important than seeing your daughter off?” I asked, my voice sounding like a spoilt three year old’s making everyone giggle at me. “Mr Black and the International Court of Justice have asked for a virtual meeting tomorrow morning which, for us, will begin at 8am.
