A week passed, and everything was very uneventful. Cassie, Ron, and I decided I would observe Zayla to see if she was, in fact, the person the council was looking for, and we would deal with it as it came.
Ron suggested I go out for a sport because I was going crazy just going to school. I decided on track, and as I went to the locker room to shower and get dressed in our team’s uniform, someone was watching me, and I had an uneasy feeling. I scanned the hall but saw nothing.
Trying to shake off the weird feeling, I opened the door and went to my gym locker. Still having the uneasiness, I tried to push it down. I opened my locker, put my bag inside, grabbed my uniform and a towel, and quickly headed to the showers, jumping in and out and toweling myself dry.
