I watched as that girl, Zayla, left the café with her friend. She's the one we’ve been hunting for. That moron has been protecting her all this time.
I could feel the magic emanating from her. She’s incredibly powerful, and that jackass, Liam, must be helping her.
He was definitely up to no good, and I knew he was a traitor. Liam is a weak warrior, but as the saying goes, I can kill two birds with one stone. After I get rid of that creature, I’ll be the head warrior and the General.
I’ve dreamt of that since I was a child. Liam didn’t even try; everything was given to him because of who his father is. But consorting with filthy shifters is treason and a death sentence. Of course, we need proof, and I’m determined to get it.
