HARD LABOR After feeding myself, I started my day getting my orders from my commanding officer and reporting to the docking bay. My day consisted of manning the docking bay, not on the command post. I had to start from the bottom. It was a dangerous task, a hazardous position. If one wasn’t careful, it was easy to get hurt. And it puzzled me who had assigned me to such a position. Then I recognized the signature on the order forms. Captain Periz. I wasn’t meant for this manual labor. I was more of a technical officer, yet here I found myself.
