Emily Clarke replied, "My name is Emily Clarke. I'd like to arrange for 500 tables for a banquet. Do you have any issues with that?"
The manager was taken aback. This was the first time they had encountered such a situation since the hotel opened. But with such a large order, they couldn't afford to turn it down.
"Mr. Clarke, arranging for 500 tables will cost over a million. If you're interested, we can certainly accommodate you, but we'll need a deposit of 200,000 upfront."
Emily responded, "That's not a problem. I'll send you the account details, and I'll transfer the funds."
With money in hand, the manager readily agreed and added Emily as a friend, sending her the bank account details.
Emily didn't hesitate to transfer the twenty thousand.
On the manager's side, after confirming the deposit with the finance department, they immediately began instructing various departments.
"Hurry! We have a big order. Procurement needs to stock up quickly, and the kitchen shouldn't take any other outside orders for now!"

Emily glanced at it and tossed her phone aside.
She arrived at the bank and began the loan process.
Due to the large loan amount Emily needed, and all her documents were in order, and the house was fully paid for, the loan was quickly approved. However, the bank only approved a loan of 4 million. Emily didn't bother negotiating; after all, it was free money, and she had no time to argue with the bank.
After signing the documents, the bank transferred the money to her account.
"Now, after spending more than a million on the banquet, I still have about 5 million left," Emily calculated. "That should be enough for house renovations. However, I still need a lot of money for purchasing medicine and weapons. This might not be enough."
Emily stroked her chin, pondering how to get more money.
At that moment, a person on the roadside caught Emily's attention. He seemed to be pondering something. The man approached Emily.
"Hey, buddy, need money?"
Emily looked up at the man.
"Who are you?"
The man's smile deepened, and he lowered his voice. "I'm just asking if you need money right now? But the bank won't lend it to you, right?"
Upon hearing this, Emily understood what the man was getting at. He was probably offering a loan at a high-interest rate.
Emily pretended to hesitate and said, "Yes, my business urgently needs funds, but the bank..."
The man nodded knowingly.
But Emily saw through his intentions. Surely, anyone who could borrow money from a bank wouldn't resort to borrowing from loan sharks?
He said to Emily, "Yeah, banks are strict nowadays! But hey, if you need money urgently, I can help."
Emily looked at the man cautiously.
"You? Can you really help? I need several million."
The man took out a business card and handed it to Emily.
"Our company specializes in helping people in need of funds. Just give us a call!"
Emily glanced at the card. It read "Duo Duo Loan Financial Services Co., Ltd.," and the man's name was Hu Minghua, a business manager.
Excitedly, Emily said, "Can you really lend me the money? I need 5 million. I promise I can repay it within three months!"
Hu Minghua smiled, "We can discuss this. Our company is very powerful and specializes in helping people like you who lack funds."
"Let's go, and we can discuss this further at our office."
Emily nodded eagerly and followed Hu Minghua to their company's office.
The so-called company was in a secluded office building.
Inside, Hu Minghua led Emily to their boss's office.
The boss's name was Chen Xiong. After seeing Emily, he greeted her with a smile and invited her to sit down.
"Emily, how much money do you want to borrow?"
True to their reputation as a loan shark company, the conversation was straightforward.
This kind of company, being irregular, didn't have many rules. And they had ways to make sure you repaid the money, not worrying about you defaulting.
Emily said, "I want to borrow 5 million."
Chen Xiong frowned, "That's a considerable amount. But Emily, I want to be clear; our interest rates are very high. Are you prepared for that?"
Hu Minghua interjected, "Emily's business urgently needs funds. Once her business picks up, she'll be able to earn the money quickly, right?"
The two of them echoed each other's sentiments, and Emily observed their interaction.
Emily pretended to be eager and said, "Yes, I can repay it quickly. The interest rate doesn't matter as long as you lend me the money."
Chen Xiong smiled, "Let's discuss the details. Our company is very flexible. We'll find a way for you to repay the loan."
Emily felt relieved. "Finally, I can get the money I need."
