Sheila

I saw Ted come in today walking with that wolfless b***h's mutt, then I finally got it. All his absences lately, his hostility when I mentioned his mate, that girl with no wolf who lived on the outskirts of the pack is his mate. So why have they just now realised it, something is wrong here but I'll get to the bottom of it. Ted Jr and his father are two of the few men that don't pay me any attention. But I want Ted so bad, I'll have him even if I have to break a few rules to get him in my bed or vice versa.

I was lucky enough to see him leave with the Alpha, future Alpha and his dad, I knew that wolfless thing had to be at that shitty job she held in town, so I ran up to his room, picked his lock and stripped naked to lay in his bed, a nice little surprise for when he returned. I took my clothes off and sprawled across his bed rubbing my scent in his sheets, I heard the padding of a wolf's feet and in a sing song voice I asked " oh Hayden is that you my sweet? " I rolled over and came face to face with a huge black wolf, her pet wolf " f**k! " I looked it up and down, was he always this huge, I've never really paid him or her any mind anyway. It wasn't growling or anything though, seemed kinda docile and very well trained to be honest. I tried to shoo it away it just sat and stared at me, so I kicked it.....hard. He looked at me and backed away, so I got out of the bed and kicked it again, it ran into Ted's bathroom and backed into the corner by the tub, " I got it, I'll get you and your owner exiled for attacking me " I kicked him hard as I could another 2 times, I'm sure I heard his rib crack, he yelped and growled at me. One more time hard as I can should do it, I kicked him, very sure I heard ribs crack this time and he bit into my leg. I screamed bloody murder and ran out of Ted's room making as much noise as possible, delta Charles came running up the stairs and I cried and cried and told them how I was just waiting for Ted and it attacked me. The Luna came down and she took the wolf away to her office, any fool looking could see he was a big old softy but I couldn't give a damn. I was treated at the pack hospital, released and left to my own devices, I'd be fully healed by tomorrow and that wolf should be dead. Luna asked me to wait for her and the Alpha's decision, it would be made by sunrise tomorrow. I chuckled to myself, soon Ted very soon I'll get you into my bed, I sat in my house and waited, I saw Ted come outside and walk the wolf around the pack, people were already hearing rumors and shying away from him and that filthy mutt of hers, everything was going to plan.

Ted

I had walked Shadow to the pack garden and we were sitting there just looking around, he ran around a bit then he came to sit by my feet and I rubbed his belly and scratched his neck. I was thinking about what the Luna had planned and it should work, the truth will out, it always does sooner or later. Shadow's ears perked up and he turned his head to the left, when I followed his eyes I saw a pup, about 5 years old hiding behind some bushes watching us. I motioned for him to come over, he inched over and stood by my side wearily eyeing Shadow. " Beta Ted, my momma says he's been a bad boy but he sure doesn't look it, ca..can I pet him? " I chuckled " where's your mama Brad? ", " she's doing the laundry sir " he answered, " does she know you left the house " I asked him " no beta " he hung his little head " I'm going to have to take you home Brad, you know that right, you should always listen to your parents, they're doing all they do to protect you " he looked sad and scared to face his mother " ok beta Ted, but can I please pet the wolf, he doesn't look so scary up close ".

I nodded, I noticed people peeking through their windows and looking around corners, little Brad crept closer and I whistled for Shadow to come over then I used the hand signal Letti showed me to get him to lie down and bare his belly, which he did as soon as I used it. Brad yelled " cool! " and began to pet him and rubbed his belly and Shadow just lay there, tongue hanging out enjoying his belly rub. Brad was squealing and giggling with joy, more pups came out to play with him until we had a small group asking questions about him and playing with him. He really is an attention w***e, it got worse when people started giving him treats and food. I shook my head and let him have his fun until about 5 30pm, I told the kids we had to go and they all protested, especially the pups. A few even asked if I couldn't leave him with them until I came back, I told them I couldn't as he had bitten someone while I was away today, more than a few voices doubts about that, making me smile. I took naughty little Brad back to his mom and piled Shadow into the truck and left to go get Leticia.

She was outside waiting for us, " Shadow! I missed you, how's my good boy? " she squealed as she got in the truck and reached back to ruffle his furry head. " Hey what about me? " she giggled turned to me and kissed me " you're my bad boy and I missed you too " I got hot under the collar and started the truck, we made small talk as we headed to the pack house, I asked her about her day and stuff. I parked close to the pack house and got her and Shadow out of the truck, we walked with Shadow between us and Leticia was very surprised to hear people calling out to Shadow. " Ok......what's going on? He seems very popular " I told her he had a goodish day and made a few friends. I told her we would be heading to the Luna's office first, then outside to talk to the pack, she held out for my hand, I took it and she said " let's do this ". We walked into the Luna's office hand in hand and she beamed when she saw us " oooooh just look at you two, you know when you think about it, I should've figured it out, Ted's the perfect guy for you, if he wasn't your mate I don't think your mate would've been from this pack ". Leticia blushed and greeted the Luna with a short hug, " I'm just happy he decided he wanted me, a bit late but still.....all I've ever wanted was my other half, my person, who would look past my flaws and just love me " her eyes got misty and I hugged her to me " I'm sorry I made you wait so long " she hugged me back, " stop apologizing Ted, we're good now ". Luna Christie cleared her throat and we focused on what she had to say.

" Leticia honey, now don't be angry with Teddy, I ordered him not to tell you, Shadow was accused of biting someone today and this person is asking that he be put down " before the Luna could finish speaking Leticia fell out, she dropped to her knees, " Luna please please, I'll take him away from here, I'll even leave with him I can't......he's my boy......what happened......he's very well trained....I dont understand wha " Luna Christie took her by the shoulders " honey I have zero intention of killing that beautiful animal, he came to me like a lamb today, directly after he bit the person and while this person was still in the room " " which leads me to believe that said person is lying, I also asked Ted to take Shadow outside and see how he interacts with some of the pack " she continued on " I took footage from the cameras all around the pack to make sure nobody could say it was a lie or anything, the way he behaved around the pack members today I believe Shadow had to have been provoked ". Leticia was crying by now and i was rubbing her back trying to calm her down, Shadow came over and nuzzled her, whimpering, she wrapped her arms around his neck and sniffled. Luna asked her if she would allow us to take Shadow to the pack doctor, since he sometimes had to treat us in wolf form he would be able to give Shadow a check up. We made our way over to the pack hospital and met up with Dr Lawrence Hill, he had already spoken to the Luna and was expecting Shadow.

Dr Hill did a thorough check up on Shadow after which he came back out and gave us his findings and produced four x rays he had taken during his examination. He pointed out where Shadow had some swelling, bruising and two broken ribs, because he was a true wolf his injuries would heal normally so he gave Leticia some medication for him and told her he was being bandaged up as we spoke " now I had to put him under sedation in order for the nurses to wrap the bangages on him, he's a very large wolf, he's healthy and he's quite beautiful " Leticia looked equally disturbed and proud. Dr Hill told Luna that in his expert opinion Shadow had been kicked very very hard at least three or four times, we waited until Shadow was up and walking on his own before we left Dr Hill's offices. We thanked the Dr and Luna suggested we speak to the Alpha then they'd address the pack and deal with what happened, I personally wanted to hold Sheila down while my mate kicked her in the ribs.

Alpha Thomas and Luna Christie met up and we compiled all the evidence we had to show that Sheila provoked Shadow into biting her. They called the pack meeting, every pack member was to be present and accounted for in half an hour, people had already started gathering. The ranked members, Leticia, Shadow and Dr Hill were on the stage waiting for Sheila who dramatically limped in using delta Charles as a brace, I rolled my eyes and held Leticia's hand. As we waited little 5 year old Brad came running in excitedly calling for Shadow, Shadow's tail started going crazy, but he looked up at Leticia asking for permission, she made a small circle with her hand and pointed at Brad. Shadow took off at top speed and went straight for the 5 year old boy, stopping at his feet, Leticia then whistled and made the signal for him to sit. He sat at Brad's feet unmoving, even when other people tried to call him over, they used treats and small pieces of meat and yet Shadow never moved. Alpha called attention to him and started the meeting, he informed the pack of the incident, Leticia's hand tightened on mine when she heard Sheila was found naked in my bed, Alpha Thomas made sure to highlight the fact that we were in her diner when it happened and he also made sure Sheila said with her own mouth that we weren't ever romantically involved. Dr Hill then presented the x rays and telling us what he thought caused the broken ribs and bruises on Shadow. The pack watched the footage of an unleashed Shadow loving on many pack members in the garden this same evening. Never once was he aggressive or showed any sign that he would harm anyone. The last thing Alpha Thomas did was release his full aura causing the whole pack to lower their heads and submit, he walked over to Sheila " tell us the truth of what happened in Ted's room this morning......now " she lowered her head, compelled by her Alpha to tell the truth, she told the whole pack how she picked the lock on my room door, stripped naked and rubbed her scent on my sheets ( I must remember to burn them ) she then told us how Shadow came out of the bathroom and she was scared at first, but when she realized who he belonged to and put two and two together, she tried to get him to attack her, he wouldn't so she kicked him very hard 4 or 5 times, hoping to get Leticia and Shadow banished. She then decided to hurt Letti even more, she would try to have Shadow put down.

The pack started shouting threats at her, Alpha Thomas calmed them down and addressed them " we here at the Sunset pack are a family, we make important decisions as a whole, I will bring the decision of what punishment Sheila will recieve to a pack vote. The choices are a flogging, 1 month in the dungeon for every kick she gave Shadow or banishment. After the votes had been collected the results showed a tie between a flogging and 4 or 5 months in the dungeon. We only banish members who commit the worst of the worst of crimes. In the event of a tied vote the ranked members of the pack make the decision, we ended up deciding to flog Sheila and send her to the dungeon for 3 months. We then returned to the stage and Alpha made the announcement " Sunset pack I have good news to report, our future beta Ted has found his mate. To be honest he found her 5 years ago and he has been working through his own personal doubts and feelings. I am very happy to announce that he has made his decision to accept his mate and our new beta female is Leticia Summers ". There was dead silence, whispers and some applause, Alpha Thomas asked the pack to be open minded and to give our mating a chance, the pack murmured but agreed to give us the chance to prove Leticia would be a valuable member of the pack and a great beta female. I promised to start training with her immediately and I took her around to introduce her to the pack members, they knew of her but they didn't really know her. They already loved Shadow, I'm sure they would grow to love her too.
