I got up this morning and decided I'd go into the diner, help with the morning shift and top up the Delights there. Ted was passed out next to me when I crept off the bed and went to take a shower, I was testing the water temperature when I was pressed up against the bathroom wall and lifted up to Ted's face, " put your legs over my shoulder baby " I complied " Ted what....." he buried his face in my v****a and proceeded to eat me like an early breakfast. " Oh.....ooooh Ted, don't stop " he brought me to a heart stopping orgasm and then he got into the shower with me and washed my hair. I made us a light breakfast and he took me to the diner to do the morning shift, when we pulled up to the diner I hopped put of the truck and walked around to the drivers side, Ted opened his door and stepped out, grabbed my waist and kissed me long and hard. " Have a great day Mrs Levi, call me when you're ready to come home ok " I told him I would and let myself into the diner.

I went into the kitchen and started meal prep, after I was done I started making batches of Delights for fresh baking and for freezing. I was well into making my 6th batch when I heard the bell over the door ding and I guessed the fry cook had arrived, so imagine my surprise when Sheila walked into the kitchen. I jumped " Sheila what the hell are you doing in here, get out! " she laughed while sneering at me " well if it isn't the wolfless Luna " I guess she didn't know as much as she thought she knew, I cleaned my hands on my apron and sighed " Sheila what do you want? " she folded her hands across her chest " I want Ted, I want to be his Luna, I want everything I would've had if you hadn't ruined it! " I scoffed " I hate to point out the obvious, you're not his mate, nothing was to be yours, he didn't even want you " I said. " I would've convinced him or worn him down eventually, if you hadn't come into the picture he would've fallen for me I know he would've " I shook my head and went back to baking, if she felt like it she could stay there and watch me, she might learn something. Sheila marched over to where I stood and threw the bowl of Delights dough on the floor, I bent down and picked it up, I put it in the garbage and walked over to the sink to wash the bowl. I wondered if Ivory, being a blessed wolf would be able to reach Ted from this far away " can't hurt to try girlfriend " Ivory said. I reached out to Ted " baby? " he replied immediately " Letti? Hey baby....how are you linking me from so far, or are you close to home? " I smiled, " no I'm at the diner, Sheila is here, she marched into the kitchen and she's arguing with me about you, I'm afraid she might get violent " Ted shouted " I'm on my way baby! "

Sheila was shouting something in my face when I came back into focus " don't you ignore me you b***h, I said I need you to reject Ted, either that or I'll just kill you and go console the grieving Alpha " I laughed " Sheila, we both know that even if I reject him or die Ted won't want you, he just doesn't want you Sheila jeez! ", " you have a mate somewhere out there, go find him or her " she hauled off and slapped me in the face, Ivory paced in and growled in my head " let me at her girlfriend, she won't be so bold after I'm done with her ". I shook my head " Ted's on his way, I'll let him deal with her " Sheila screamed and rushed at me, I dodged the blow and ran out of the kitchen, straight into the arms of Ted senior. " Good morning my beautiful daughter in law, I see you're having a bit of trouble this morning " Sheila who burst through the doors after me froze on the spot " uh beta Levi, I was just leaving " she tried to go back through the kitchen doors and walked into Alpha Thomas, " well well well, some people just don't know when to quit, didn't I tell you not to go near that pack, Ted or his Luna? " she tried to answer him " SHUT UP!, I told you to stay away from Luna Levi, since you are deaf I will now give you an Alpha command " she shrunk back as Alpha Thomas in his Alpha voice said " you are to stay away from Alpha Ted Levi and his wife Luna Leticia Levi, you are to go nowhere near the Midnight Moon pack, you are hereby banned from the surrounding town and all business in it " tears sprung up in her eyes " but Alpha that basically restricts me to our pack and nowhere else " Ted walked in as Alpha Thomas told her " I can always banish you if you're not satisfied with this " Ted held me and turned me to him, he raised my head and went to kiss me, he froze when he saw my bruised face " did she hit you? " he growled. I raised my hand to my cheek, " it's ok Ted " my husband moved faster than I've ever seen him move, he grabbed Sheila by the throat and raised her about a foot off the ground, " babe I'm fine, I promise, it's already disappearing look " I ran my hand up his back and rubbed small circles on his back, Ted looked at me then looked at Sheila " my wife saved your life, I almost snapped your neck " he dropped her and lifted me into his arms, he caressed my cheek and kissed it, then he kissed my lips. " I figured dad and Alpha Thomas would get here faster, are you ok baby? " I kissed him again " baby I'm fine, I was holding Ivory back, she wanted to kill her " Sheila's eyes widened " she has a wolf?! " my father in law scoffed " a blessed wolf at that, direct descendant of the moon goddess, she could've taken care of you anytime she wanted to, lucky for you my Luna has a big heart " he dragged her outside and handed her over to 2 warriors from the pack.

I thanked Alpha Thomas and my father in law for coming to help me and gave them some Delights to take home, I kissed them both on the cheek making Ted growl lowly in his throat. " Behave " I tapped him on the arm, he grumbled something about being deprived of Delights and it being his right as a husband to get some first, Alpha Thomas and Beta Levi chuckled " my daughter in law is the best isn't she Thomas? " I giggled " will you two stop baiting my husband please " they laughed loudly and left to take Sheila away, I asked Alpha Thomas to say hello and kiss Luna Christie for me. Ted hugged me tight and sniffed my neck, he caressed my cheek, it was almost unnoticeable now, " When you're ready to come home call me please, I need you naked, under me as soon as possible " he nipped at my neck and sucked on my mark. I moaned loudly and clamped my hand over my mouth " I can't wait to put a pup in you ", I froze " um I don't think I'm ready for pups just yet sir " he chuckled and brushed me off, obviously thinking I'm joking. I grabbed his arm " Ted, I'm kinda serious baby I don't want to have pups yet " he looked at me and his eyes got darker " what? ", " you're kidding right, I want to start a family immediately Letti ". I sighed " why can't we wait a year or two Ted, we literally just found each other, it's like you claimed me, got challenged for me, married me and mated me in less than two months ", " it's gone by so fast we haven't had time to enjoy each other " he scoffed " we're wolves Letti, we move fast and as Alpha I have to make sure I produce heirs that can carry on the Levi name, how can my Luna not want to have pups?! " I gasped " Ted...you're acting as if I said never, I said a year or two, it's not that long " he looked at me and then he stormed off through the door. I half expected him to come back in and say he was only joking but no, he got in his truck and he left.

I was hurt, I wasn't angry but I was very hurt, I knew I had to meet Ted half way and I know where he was coming from. His argument was very valid, I just wanted a little time for us, to get to know each other and fall in love with each other, was that too much to ask, was I being unreasonable?. I lost myself in work for the rest of the day and around 6pm I called Ted to tell him I was ready, all of my calls went to voicemail. I tried to mind link him and it appears he has me blocked, I'll just have to find my way home I guess. I sighed, packed my things up, grabbed a bottle of water and started the long walk home " if you get tired just shift and I'll run the rest of the way girlfriend " I sighed " thanks Ivory ". It was a long walk but Ted underestimated my stubbornness, I'd walk every step back to Midnight Moon, I didn't care how long it took. I kinda enjoyed it, the air was cool, I had Ivory for company and strength, I wasn't tired and the water helped when I got thirsty. My phone rang and I took it out to see who it was, it was Paula " hello Paula " she breathed a sigh of relief " hey Luna, where are you, you're missing dinner? " I chuckled " I'm on my way back to the pack, why...is something wrong? " she replied " no not really, it's just that Alpha said you should've been back by now and he asked us to call and see what was keeping you " I gritted my teeth " did he now? ", " well I took the scenic route home Paula, tell your Alpha I said if he wants to know where I am, call me himself and I'll get there when I get there " I cut the call and continued walking, I slowed my steps a bit, maybe a longer walk will help to cool my head. How dare he...he wouldn't take my calls and had me blocked from linking him, how the hell did he expect me to get home if not by foot. We could had a discussion and maybe come to a compromise by now but nooooo " I'm taking my damned time now " It was getting dark now so I figured it was after 8pm by now, I could check my phone but that would mean turning it on, I felt something like a pinch in my head, like my mind was a door and someone was trying to get in " hey girlfriend Hayden is trying to reach us " I shook my head " not right now Ivory, keep them blocked off please and thanks " Ivory and I had a nice conversation while we were walking home and I started to get a better idea of what Ted was saying, as Alpha he was expected to have pups, preferably male to carry on his lineage but I also thought it wasn't unreasonable for him to let me have a year reprieve from having pups. We just started this relationship jeez, while I was musing and talking to Ivory a jeep pulled up next to me " hey sweet thing, you need a ride somewhere? " I looked over at the guy driving it " no thank you, I'm almost where I need to be " he chuckled " come on honey there's nothing around here for miles, just get in the car and I'll take you to the next town or whatever " I told him I wasn't going to town and I'd be fine " you don't have to be scared, I don't bite....unless you want me to " I rolled my eyes, " sir I'm ok and I don't need a ride anywhere, could you please carry on " Ivory growled in my head " let me talk to him girlfriend " I chuckled out loud at her antics " what's funny angel? " I waved him off " just talking with the voice in my head ". I stopped walking " sir please, just go on, I don't need a lift and I'm almost home, my husband won't take kindly to you following me home " he scoffed " there's no way you're married and your husband let you walk this road alone to come home sugar " I sigh and muttered " I tried ", I had seen the truck coming down the road and tried to get him out of harm's way.

The truck came to a screeching halt, Ted and Wendell got out, " who the hell is this and why is he following you? " Ted asked, I shrugged my shoulders and kept walking. Wendell walked over to the car " kick rocks buddy, she's fine " The guy put his hands in the air like he was surrendering and sped off, I chuckled and started walking towards the pack. " Luna we have come to get you home safely " Wendell said following me, " no need, from what I can see the truck is full and I'm not very far from home " I kept walking. Ted growled loudly, causing Wendell to bare his neck, I kept walking. I heard the truck door slam. The truck passed me as I walked along and I saw Wendell was driving, Ted walked up next to me and cleared his throat " Mrs Levi " I sighed " Mr Levi " he chuckled " you are one stubborn woman " I replied " thank you " he cleared his throat again " why didn't you call someone Letti? " I stopped walking, turned to Ted, my eyes now bright purple " I did....I called my f*****g husband, who had his phone turned off and his mind locked to me " I turned and kept walking " baby I'm sorry, but I was so angry when you said you weren't ready for pups I just threw myself into my work and ...." I sighed " I'm sorry, I just want to enjoy us for a while Ted, this all happened very fast, you're all I know and all I have in this pack, a year to be carefree and in love is all I ask for before you turn me into an heir making machine " he lowered his head " once we have children, it's all work from there on out, we'll never rest until we know they're capable of caring for themselves and even after that " He held my hand " I understand Letti and I'm willing to compromise, plus.....we've walked past the entrance to the pack " I laughed when I looked back and realised that we had indeed passed the road leading to the pack. he held mybhands in his and bent to kiss me " come on baby, let me fix you a late dinner and hopefully we can spend the rest of the night practicing for when we're ready to become parents. I hopped onto his back and said " piggy back rides make me feel better Alpha " he chuckled " I'm in for one helluva ride being mated to you aren't I? " I kicked him in the side " you have no idea, HYAH MULE! " I screamed laughing. Ted looked over his shoulder at me " did we just have our first fight? " I tightened my grip around his neck " hmm maybe, I'm just glad we worked it out somewhat " he looked at me again " somewhat? " I nodded " yeah somewhat...we've been having a whole lot of unprotected s*x Ted, I might already be pregnant ".
