SELENA'S POV
I sprinted towards Rex, my heart racing as I saw him lying on the ground, blood oozing from his chest.
"Help! Somebody help!" I yelled out, my voice echoing through the area.
I frantically dialed 911, my hands trembling as I tried to explain the situation.
"Please, I need you to get here right now. Please," I pleaded, tears streaming down my face.
Rex's eyes slowly opened, and he coughed out blood. "Don't worry about me. I have to protect you," he managed to say, his voice weak but determined.
I felt a lump in my throat as I watched him struggle to stay conscious.
The sound of the ambulance siren caught my attention, and I breathed a sigh of relief as the paramedics rushed in to take Rex away.
