The blindfold was removed from my eyes, and I found myself surrounded by darkness. Startled, I questioned the two imposing figures before me, "Who are you? What do you want?" Hoping to negotiate my way out, I asked, "How much are they paying you to do this?" However, my pleas fell on deaf ears as the kidnappers remained silent.
It was unusual to encounter such silent criminals.
Perhaps they were burdened by guilt for their cruel actions.
Suddenly, the room was flooded with light, but the kidnappers had vanished. "Get me out of here!" I shouted, desperately trying to open the locked door.
