  GABRIELLA'S POV   "Please spare my life, I beg you," I pleaded. Tears streamed down my face as the anger in Michel's eyes slowly faded away.   Michel released his grip on me allowing the gun to slip to the ground. I let out a sigh of relief, gently touching my neck where the pain lingered.   "I could have killed you right here, but it wouldn't benefit us," Michel said, breaking the silence in the room.   "Pull yourself together and meet me in my office for the next stage of the plan," he said before leaving the room.   Nate, who had been standing nearby, approached me. "I'm tired of this kind of life," I expressed.   "I understand, Gabby. But if you want to survive, you have to follow the boss's orders, no matter what, or else you'll end up dead," he replied before leaving the room
