I was casually walking towards Gabriella's room to have a conversation about my feelings for Aiden, when I accidentally overheard her discussing her son with someone, possibly Nate or someone else.
It was unclear who exactly she was talking to, but the way she is currently looking at me with fear in her eyes suggests that she might have said something she didn't want me to hear.
The suspicion in the room started to grow.
"I apologize, I didn't realize you were occupied," I said, finally breaking the uncomfortable silence.
"No, I'm available now. What did you want to talk about?" she asked.
"It's nothing important, sis. Don't worry," I replied as I left her room before she could insist on me staying.
