The priest asked me again, "Aiden, do you promise to love Loretta as your wife until death?" My heart raced as I considered my answer.
I paused, then said, "Yes, I do." The crowd erupted in cheers, and my mom beamed with joy. I thought to myself, "I made the right decision." But doubts lingered.
The priest announced, "I announce you are husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Loretta immediately leaned in for a kiss, and our lips met.
Selena dominated my thoughts as we kissed deeply.
