Harriet's POV. "Devon?" I called out, my heart thumping in my chest from the fright. Our eyes met and I didn't know when I let out a loud gasp. "Devon! Oh my God" I ran over to his sprawled body on the floor, my heart thumping for different reasons now. "Are you okay?" What's going on?" I rambled out, Devon only stared at me from the floor, his eyes struggling to keep open and his bones weak. I moved to touch him but he was shaking his head. "No don't touch me. C-Call Patricia!. Call Patricia" he growled painfully. "What? Okay. At least let me get you up" I insisted but he shook his head firmly again. "No. Please. Just call her" I didn't know when my heart twitched but it did, he looked to be in so much pain and he even said please. I didn't know why he was refusing my touch
