Harriet’s POV I woke up before dawn today. It had never happened before but it had been happening lately. Ever since Devon scolded me in the dining halls. I had been waking up so early to clean his chambers, once I was done, I go briskly to get ready for breakfast and I wait for him in the hall, he hardly came down but I still waited. The times he did, he didn’t even spare me as much as a glance before he was eating so little and walking away. He then locks himself in his study room for hours unending.
