So many things had been happening since Roland died.
We had captured Steve and even in his dying breath, he had refused to disclose the name of the person who ordered him to kill Roland.
In my anger, I twisted his neck and left him to be sucked upon by Edgar and Timothy.
No one had managed to withstand my t*****e which made me wonder what exactly he was promised. He was a human, and the only thing that can easily be used to entice them was money but from the energy I read from him, it wasn’t about money, there was something else and I was determined to find out.
