Devon’s POV
“Who was the intruder?” Edgar asked me immediately I came back to the basement.
I peered up at him, throwing him a short glance before facing forward.
“Just a glitch Alan wanted to show me” I lied.
I couldn’t tell him it was Harriet, that I had caught her snooping around and instead of punishing her the way I normally did, I instead f****d her in my study.
I didn’t even find it in me to be regretful about it, Harriet was always making me do things without thinking, things I would never have done before she came around. I was having a hard time figuring out my feelings for her, I didn’t know what I wanted from her anymore. It wasn’t any news that I enjoyed f*****g her, I enjoyed talking to her and she infuriated me so much with her witty attitude but I didn’t understan
