Sophia sat on the couch, her foot nervously tapping while she reread Victor's text message over and over. He was still at the office, but the thought of seeing him later was the silver lining for what had been such a heavy morning thus far. She had just gotten off the call with the rehab facility; Isabella was fighting her addiction a lot harder than she had previously let on, and it dug into Sophia's core with overwhelming guilt. It was not easy seeing her sister in pain, but she just had to be grounded at this time. For now, her own life required attention.
