Chapter 12“Cut. Let’s get another shot!” A male voice called out from the darkness behind a camera. Micah stepped off the X taped to the soundstage where he had been standing. While the crew prepared to shoot the scene again, Micah used the time to go over the scripted scene that he had been given. He glanced up from the page to look at the clock. The reddish numbers glowed somewhere behind the camera, and it was ten thirty-five.
“I hope there’ll be enough time to spend with Don. He probably thinks I’m blowing him off,” Micah said out loud so that one of the stage crew heard him and replied.
