Chapter 26In the morning, Micah got out of the shower and was in the bathroom getting dressed so that he wouldn’t wake Don. He tiptoed past the bed when he was done and into the kitchen to make coffee.
Pouring himself a mug he sat down on the sofa and checked his cell phone for messages. There was one from Forrest, wanting to know where he was because someone was asking, and there was one from Alana wanting to know if they could have brunch soon. He laid the phone aside and stared at the photo of Roger on the table in front of him.
There was something about the eyes and the cheeks of the man in the photo that looked familiar. He had seen those same features recently. He heard footsteps, and then Don came out from the bedroom and sat down next to him. They kissed.
